Zastosowanie analizy sieci społecznych w zarządzaniu zrównoważonym rozwojem turystyki miejskiej
Abstract
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest sformułowanie metodycznych podstaw wykorzystania
dorobku teorii interesariuszy (stakeholder theory) oraz analizy sieci społecznych (social network analysis) w procesie badania skomplikowanych (tj. wieloelementowych i wielopoziomowych) struktur relacji pomiędzy podmiotami mającymi istotny wpływ na trwałość rozwoju turystyki miejskiej oraz opracowanie narzędzia identyfikacji instytucji, które powinny odpowiadać za formułowanie
strategii zrównoważonego rozwoju turystyki miejskiej. This study aims to examine how the concept of sustainable tourism could be interpreted in urban destinations and how the existing patterns of relationships among urban tourism destination stakeholders could be best identified and analyzed The network of inter-relationships of stakeholders representing government, the community, the tourism
and hospitality industry influence the sustainability of urban tourism development. It is pointed that the stakeholders analysis could enable to identify the critical stakeholders in
destination development while the social network analysis (SNA) should be used to
examine the interconnectedness of stakeholders. These two approaches combined together help to determine how the structure of inter-stakeholder relationships might influence sustainable urban tourism development. The suggested method might also enable to examine whether the destination management organizations (DMOs) and stakeholders with access to or possession of critical resources have the highest centrality in urban destinations and are perceived to hold the greatest legitimacy and power over other stakeholders in destination development.
