Polaryzacja podaży turystycznej jako stymulanta rozwoju sieciowych produktów turystycznych
Abstract
Korporacje transnarodowe wykazują większe zdolności innowacyjne i organizacyjne niż małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa turystyczne, wywierają wpływ na wielkość i kierunek strumieni ruchu turystycznego, skutecznie kreują potrzeby turystyczne, wyznaczają globalne standardy jakości obsługi, wyposażenia, organizacji i zarządzania. Świadomość takiej konkurencji mobilizuje niezależnych usługodawców turystycznych do poszukiwania możliwości wyróżnienia się i obniżenia kosztów działania. Wśród licznych prób wzmocnienia konkurencyjności MŚP turystycznych jednym z najskuteczniejszych sposobów wydaje się ich aktywny udział w kreowaniu oferty obszaru turystycznego, w szczególności tworzenie produktów sieciowych. Celem artykułu jest uzasadnienie i egzemplifikacja tego zjawiska. Transnational corporations demonstrate much better innovation and organisational competence then tourism SMEs. They influence the amount and directions of international tourism flows, efficiently create tourism needs and appoint the global quality standards. The awareness of such competition makes the local tourism entrepreneurs look for any possibilities of differentiation, acquire tourists’ loyalty, lower the cost of activity etc. Among many other efforts to strengthen their competitiveness the SMEs try to practice one of the most promising tools which is the active participation in the process of tourism destination area development, namely the tourism network and theme products. The aim of the paper is to present the reason and exemplification of the phenomena.
