Funkcja turystyczna jako determinanta jakości życia na wsi

Abstract

The attractiveness of tourism product is a result and a determinant of the quality of life in rural areas. The state as well as the social and technical potential of a village are connected with the plenty of ties of financial, material and organizational character. The results of scientific research show that the defaults on the planning stage may result in a negative opinion of local residents on tourism effects and may unfavorably effect the future development of tourism function as well as to cause the intolerable material, financial and social costs. One of the outcomes of the conducted research was the identification of four fields of the tourism influence on the quality of life of the local community: social and technical infrastructure, ecology, the attractiveness of life and social capital.

Celem artykułu jest wielostronna analiza wpływu rozwoju funkcji turystycznej wsi na jakość życia jej mieszkańców. Przyjęto tezę, że atrakcyjność produktu turystycznego wsi może być zarówno pochodną, jak i determinantą jakości życia lokalnych mieszkańców. W toku przeprowadzonych badań uwzględniono czynniki infrastrukturalne (infrastrukturę techniczną, budownictwo, planowanie przestrzenne, wykorzystanie materialnych zasobów wsi), społeczne (w tym atrakcyjność życia na wsi, możliwości tworzenia kapitału społecznego, role społeczne i kompetencje mieszkańców lokalnych, poczucie więzi z regionem, rozwój infrastruktury społecznej) i ekologiczne (wpływ turystyki na stan i zasoby środowiska naturalnego).
